Color and design in two and three dimension

Task 1
Color Theory

Basic Color Theory
Color theory encompasses a multitude of definitions, concepts and design applications - enough to fill several encyclopedias. However, there are three basic categories of color theory that are logical and useful : The color wheel, color harmony, and the context of how colors are used.
Color theories create a logical structure for color. For example, if we have an assortment of fruits and vegetables, we can organize them by color and place them on a circle that shows the colors in relation to each other.
The color Wheel

A color circle, based on red, yellow and blue, is traditional in the field or art. The first circular color diagram was designed by Isaac Newton in 1666. The color wheel is designed so that virtually any colors you pick from it will look good together. Over the years, many variations of the basic design have been made, but the most common version is a wheel of 12 colors based on the RYB (or artistic) color model.
Traditionally, there are a number of color combinations that are considered especially pleasing. These are called color harmonies or color chords and they consist of two or more colors with a fixed relation in the color wheel. Color Impact is designed to dynamically create a color wheel to match your base color.

There are also definition (or categories) of colors based on the color wheel.

Primary Colors: Red, yellow and blue
In traditional color theory (used in paint and pigments), primary colors are the 3 pigment colors that can not be mixed or formed by any combination of other colors. All other colors are derived from these 3 hues.

Secondary Colors: Green, orange and purple
These are the colors formed by mixing the primary colors.

Tertiary Colors: Yellow-orange, red-orange, red-purple, blue-purple, blue-green & yellow-green
These are the colors formed by mixing a primary and a secondary color. That's why the hue is a two word name, such as blue-green, red-violet, and yellow-orange.

Task 2
Spectrum of color

Task 3
Psychological Properties of colors

In color psychology, red, yellow, blue, and green are considered as the primary colors. These colors represent body, emotion, mind, and the essential interdependence and harmony between these three elements, respectively.

Red, with its extended wavelength, is considered a strong color, hence its association with physical aptitude. Although it is not the most vibrant of colors, red has the capacity to seem closer to a particular observer than it actually is, therefore scoring high when it comes to attention attraction.

Red has the capacity to trigger physical responses from human beings and this is the reason why it has been employed to serve utilitarian purposes like the traffic light signal for stop. This color is also deemed masculine and is said to awaken a person’s fight or flight instinct. Some of red’s positive attributes include augmented sense of enthusiasm, warmth, and energy. The less favorable attributes are stress, hostility, and insubordination.
Positive: Physical courage, strength, warmth, energy, basic survival, 'fight or flight', stimulation, masculinity, excitement.
Negative: Defiance, aggression, visual impact, strain.

Human emotion is directly associated with the color yellow. Color psychology characterizes yellow as a potent emotional simulator, with its considerably long wavelength.Positive thinking and confidence are just some of the human attributes inspired by this color, but, people who play around this chrome have to ensure utmost discernment since its improper usage, relative to the other shades from the color wheel, can yield undesirable effects.

Some of the negativeness that misuse of the color yellow can induce include; apprehension, terror, intense sadness, irrational thinking, and emotional vulnerability. Once properly managed, though, yellow can just as easily speak of unrivaled self-esteem, congeniality, optimism, and even artistry.
Positive: Optimism, confidence, self-esteem, extroversion, emotional strength, friendliness, creativity.
Negative: Irrationality, fear, emotional fragility, depression, anxiety, suicide.

Human intellect, from the perspective of color psychology, manifests all known shades of blue. This calming color has the capacity to rouse us intellectually. Potent shades of blue inspire clarity of thought, whereas the softer variants allow utmost mental focus and serenity of the mind.

Blue has been generally perceived as an endearing color. In various cultures from all over the world, this chrome has gained a rather positive interpretation. It goes without saying, though, that blue also has its own negative associations such as coldness, isolation, and emotional unavailability.
Positive: Intelligence, communication, trust, efficiency, serenity, duty, logic, coolness, reflection, calm.
Negative: Coldness, aloofness, lack of emotion, unfriendliness.

Green is, arguably the most germane of all the primary colours in colour psychology. It facilitates the harmony between the other chromes: red, yellow, and blue. Visually, green is able to emanate a striking appearance without being overly imposing, hence observers can enjoy it in all possible shades or tones.

On a primordial level, humankind is endeared to green due primarily to its abundance in nature. It speaks of not only prosperity, but also harmony. However, it is imperative to keep in mind that misuse of this color can inspire a sense of atrophy related to boredom and stagnation.
Positive: Harmony, balance, refreshment, universal love, rest, restoration, reassurance, environmental awareness, equilibrium, peace.
Negative: Boredom, stagnation, blandness, enervation.

Graphic Design 3 (P2)

Gantt Chart outlining the development of the project.
How to raise public awareness and change attitudes through a
mass media campaign

A mass media campaign can be an effective tool to educate the public about the risks of drinking and

driving. The most effective road safety campaigns have been those that achieve a change in behavior. It is of

course also important to increase awareness and improve attitudes, but lives are actually saved when the

desired behavior patterns are adopted. New forms of behavior can often be best achieved when legislation

is backed up by enforcement and information. When strong legislation is in place, it is much easier

to persuade people of the value of not drinking and driving. Issuing penalties can even be held back in the

early stages while people realize that the rules are being enforced. Conducting a mass media campaign

requires expertise in marketing or advertising, development of specific campaign objectives, articulation of

the campaign messages and the target audience, specifying a time frame for implementation, and a

methodology for evaluating this initiative.

Problem Statement
Drink-driving is a major road safety problem in many countries, although the extent of the problem is often unclear – especially in low and middle-income countries. Even in quite modest amounts, alcohol impairs the functioning of several processes required for safe road use, including vision and motor skills. Alcohol impairment increases the chance that all road user groups, including drivers, riders and pedestrians, will be involved in a crash. Research indicates that crashes involving drinking and driving have a number of characteristics, but these may differ considerably between regions. A number of countermeasures to reduce drinking and driving have been systematically evaluated and shown to have a positive effect on reducing the occurrence of drink-driving.

Objective

This assessment involves examining data on road crashes and injuries from, for example, the sources above in order to gauge the extent of the problem with regard to drinking and driving, and collecting information on injuries and fatalities resulting from crashes involving alcohol use.Information will be needed on the incidence, severity and types of crashes, while a thorough understanding of the causes of crashes is also important. The data may also provide insight to drinking patterns and how to target interventions on those at greatest risk. Such information will be valuable for focusing the program. For instance, it may turn out that busy urban roads are a high-risk area, or rural roads; young males may be the group found to be at greatest risk for drinking and driving.
Deliver the message that an accident is not the only consequence of drink- driving. Inform target audience of the ramifications of a drink-drive conviction. Save people from the accident. Studies show that discussed here in some situations, both exercised drunk driving campaign can help to support and alcohol related accident. None of the studies evaluated provide evidence that assistance or alcohol related accident. The campaign can have an indirect impact on addition to assess in this study. Because Media coverage of this improvement is seen public interest support for problem helps efforts to address the increase. In one of the writer with the media to influence social, higher than the potential benefits try changing each of the behaviors. In this regard suggest that future campaigns will focus on precisely this objective more spacious. If this campaign is, it will be a lesson to compare public support for influence social change political, traditional and employers encourage individuals to changes in behavior.

Why the Book / WHAT THE BOOK ABOUT?

To reduce the number of people killed or injured in drink drive accidents by changing the social acceptability

of drink driving and is seen public interest to address the increase. Other important issues related to the

potential the effects of changes in the media market, with technology market segment for this activity can be

has helped give context, where the community tend to react positively to the campaign. The message it is not

clear whether the campaign can have the same effect in the intense preventive assistance activities are not in

place. In accordance with the rules concerning the talking of evidence, the studies discussed here provide a

strong indication, resuscitation planned media campaign, as well as done, reach sufficient exposure and viewers, will be done in cooperation with other ongoing prevention activities., if the campaign is meant to move the issue to the top of the public agenda, the success of this project can be established by tracking the number of news before and during the campaign, the number of legal proposals submitted and approved the growth of grassroots groups and more. There is strong evidence that media campaign to reduce alcohol-impaired driving when campaign are carefully planned and implemented, in order to achieve adequate exposure and audience, in an environment with less alcohol still drive to prevent other activities, such as enhanced enforcement efforts implemented. When done correctly, media campaign has proven to reduce accident, alcohol, alcohol-related accident using damage and drivers consume alcohol. A different message under this campaign has shown those positive effects, including those that focus on the activities of law enforcement and legal consequences of drunk driving, and social effects of alcohol and driving less health.

Logo Design for the campaign
I want do a logo for my campaign about so put it logo as 3D it meant  "Dangerous Drink Drive" (DDD).
for this I do some research in internet about other Drink Drive logos How they create and point of the logo the color, design what they focus all that.

Research to these logos it more using red and black color. After some of my own sketches I Design the logo .here i have some design of the logo.

This is my logo that I select

Info graphic
This is the info graphic I did for the topic. This Info graphic about Number of the breath test and the majority is of the accidents are males. Most accidents happened in highways and the same time underage age between 17 -25 people are most crashed. the occur time is between 9pm to 3am. the second last one is number of people involve an alcohol related accident in their lifetime.   the last one is number of the child passengers age 14 and younger who died in drink driving crashes.. here i use icons and some information i research. before I doing this info graphic i look into other peoples work for it. some work shows the colorful background less of images and icons. some of this white background and lot of typo, images and icons.

Research about creative book
By Anselm Kiefer

This is the artwork did by Anselm Kiefer that I refer from some internet sources about the book sculpture.

This some of the book layout that found from designers book.

I decide to do a metal book and a e-book for the project. The metal book about people loss their knowing people or family members. the book as a memorial for those. the reason i choose do to the book in metal i like to do book sculpture so i think do to with car parts. so i thought car bonnet is easy to do metal book sculpture.

The bonnet cut in this place that i mentioned with black square. And the following picture is the metal look like that. the size is (W 21 cm x H 21 cm)

After discuss with my lecture about the secondary research I get more information and details for the topic I took.

Memorial.
Research about victims for the memorial part. then i choose some news of the victims who died and crashed in drink driving accidents.
Founded some cases of drunk and drive.
